For all of you jingle junkies, I have a news flash for you. American Family Insurance is looking to replace their current jingle in favor of something with an organic, earthy feeling.

I wonder how successful the transition will be. Obviously companies change their jingles over the years (such as both Pepsi and Coke which have a great histories of songs), but still there must be an primary loss of affiliation. Although, perhaps companies change their jingles to attract new clientele. They use a jingle until it reaches a saturation point; bringing in the greatest number of new clients. Then they change the jingle to attract a different demographic while they retain the previously acquired group.

Anyway, for those of you unusually attached to the AmFam jungle, get your fill of it now because it is on the way out the door.
